English Etiquette Welcoming and Receiving Visitors
This short course titled Receiving Visitors leads students to improve their conversation and helps them build up their vocabulary. It focuses on receiving visitors at a company or in a hotel and will guide you to learn the expressions you need to introduce yourself and others, how to welcome visitors and show them the way. In Greeting & Welcoming Visitors (Elementary level), students will also learn how to ask the right questions, apologize for a delay, and look after visitors. The course includes many activities that will enhance your knowledge and help you become more confident and more fluent using the English language. On completion of this short course, learners will have acquired vital knowledge related to first time meetings, greetings, and making clients feel welcomed.
English for Business Memos and Letters
This 3-hour course provides essential guidelines for creating effective English business memos and letters for intermediate (B1) learners, and aims to improve their writing skills in English as far as these two types of business writing are concerned. They will learn useful language and techniques for writing and organizing memos and letters. Units are provided with exercises to help them understand and use the language and techniques they learn.
English for Employment
This short course titled English for Employment provides learners with information about problematic situations and how to deal with them, motivating staff and employees, as well as team building activities. Learners will acquire the language of employment including vocabulary, grammar, idiomatic expressions as well as conversation. In English for Employment (upper intermediate level), learners will also learn how to talk about employment using modal verbs, -ing and infinitive, among others.
English for the Workplace
This short course titled English for the Workplace leads students to the basics of English language and business English and helps them build up their vocabulary. It focuses on jobs, job interviews, resume and the ideal office. In business English (starter level), you will also learn grammar (including the present simple).
